Brasil and France Collage

So after a meeting with Dougal Muir, Vancouver Film School's outside project critique, I decided to ring my buddy Antonio Suarez up and see how he was doing. I stated early on in my project plan that I would be collaborating with Antonio on Storyboarding assistance, well, the project has turned into more of a combined effort that I am more pleased with. I have been working with stop motion animation, collage, fancy water effects, and using paper to create the look of coral reef. Take a look at the collages.

More Foam Effectore in After Effects

This one is pretty cool. I basically took the composition of an animated ant and put that in instead of the bubbles like in the example below.

Random Effector In After Effects

Exercise using foam effector in After Effects. This is good for creating random motion so you don't have to animate each object. So, instead of bubbles, we could animate, say ants! Take a look above after this one.

Picto Story

I got thinking that a designer can actually tell a story with images. He He He

Country Stamps

Here are some country stamps that I designed in Illustrator. They are being used in the commercials that I am making for World Tour Adventures branding and commercial campaign.

Logo Development

Here is the latest Version for the Logo Development of World Tour Adventures, a not yet existent company that I am using as a model for branding and commercial production. The idea is that the country or city which is being covered will be in negative space with the company name in positive.

Print Design

I am designing the DVD packaging for the movie that I will be authoring in DVD authoring class. I am not finished, but here is a wallpaper proof. A wallpaper proof is the rough you put in for printing to see how it looks when you send it over from digital to ink.

Image of the Curtain I Created In Cinema 4d

This is one image captured in a motion sequence that we are using at the beginning of the music video "Lies". We are going to composite our singer and the city we created on the stage -which will appear after the curtains open.

DVD Authoring Class is so cool!!! We are basically learning how to take a movie, put it into Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 software program and put it onto a DVD with menu bars and even animated chapter menus!!! Have a look!!!!

7th Annual Coast Longboarders Take Over the Seawall Cruise

Vancouver is absolutely gorgeous in the summertime! It is vital to take advantage of the sun when it shines as it rains quite a lot in the Fall and Winter. So... after a long week of putting long hours in the classroom at design school, my Polish friend Bartoscz and I decided to document an annual longboarding (which is an xtra-long skateboard or sidewalk surfer) event which started on Beach Avenue went thru Stanley Park and back to Beach Avenue... a total of about 10 or so Miles!!! It was a hoot!!! Check it out!!!

Food Envy

Term 3 was exciting for me as it was my first opportunity to direct a live action sequence. Our assignment was to create an, information graphic or infographic which are visual representations of information, data, or knowledge. A classic example of an information graphic is Charles J. Minard's visual description of Napoleon's march on Moscow. Since I was so eager to work with trained actors, I wanted to pull off the assignment by combining live action with graphic media in a visual representation of the affects of envy on a person when dining with friends.
